About Your Homestead:

Zenstead Farms is a small 0.8 acre suburban homestead, where we combine the best of urban and rural living! We are a short walk/bike ride away from the bustling downtown district, but the busy city life feels a thousand miles away when we are home! We have eleven chickens (and counting!) along with eight goats (Nigerian dwarf and mini-LaManchas), which supply us with fresh eggs and milk. We have 1,000+ square feet of raised garden beds where we grow seasonal veggies, medicinal herbs and flowers. We also have apple, plum, apricot, mulberry and paw paw trees.

About Kaylee:

I believe that small homesteads can be mighty! We live on a 0.8 acre homestead, nestled among suburban communities, but that doesn't stop us from achieving our homestead goals! We raise goats and chickens and have over 1,000+ square feet of raised garden beds. I love to test the limits of what can be managed and produced on a small scale property while sharing what I learn along the way!
